the participation of the private sector in national investments in order to accelerate development in all various economic sectors and enhance the national economy, the investment law no.230 of 1989 was issued, pursuant to which the international company for mining and investments (ICMI) SAE was among the leading Egyptian investments projects incorporated under its umbrella. |

| The company was incorporated in 1991 as an industrial project with a principal objective of producing active Bentonite for various uses in addition to crushing and preparation of other row materials such as Feldspars with all kinds, calcium carbonate, talc powder, crushed quartz to supply the needs of various industrial and construction projects. |

| The company's factory was established, as one of the largest factories operating in the same field in Egypt, covering an area of forty thousands square meters at the industrial zone in sadat industrial city located on Cairo –Alexandria desert road. |
